This is completely separate from Glossop U3a but operates to help any member who might need help

In normal times we serve teas and coffees at the Coffee Mornings and the Thursday Group meetings.

Coffee or Tea with a biscuit costs 50p per serving

With this income our Welfare Group sends Birthday, Get Well or Sympathy cards to members or their families.

We arrange for a Poppy Wreath to be laid at the Remembrance Ceremony in Norfolk Square and make sure someone attends on behalf of Glossop U3A.

We also make donations to local charities on behalf of the membership of Glossop U3A.

If you know of anyone who would appreciate a card please let us know directly or via a Group Leader.
