8 of us enjoyed an excellent walk from Brabyns car park

We started along the canal towards Strines and joining the path towards the Roman Lakes before we took some very underused footpaths towards Mellor church where we enjoyed lunch and the archaeological site. We then returned via the recently established Marple vineyard to Marple Bridge where we enjoyed coffee and cake courtesy of Elaine for her approaching birthday
